Maintenance Tech

Maintenance Techs modify, develop, test, and calibrate machinery and equipment, generally under the direction of engineering staff or physical scientists. They read dials, meters, and test sample data to determine safe and efficient operating performance of machinery and equipment throughout the manufacturing process.
Nearly everything in modern manufacturing involves a series of interconnected computers, systems, or electronic circuitry. Maintenance techs are responsible for ensuring these complex operations continue to run smoothly and produce a consistently high-quality and safe product that people want to buy.

Work Experience: 0-3 years
Wage Range: $15 - $28/hour
